Client Server Network

Client-Server network is the model which consists at least one server and one or more workstations or clients. The server is the main computer, which gives services to the work stations where as work stations or clients are the computer where user can work. Server protects and stores the user files. 

• The users need to be logged to the server to access software, files etc provided by the network. Here the packet of data sent by any computer is first reached to server and then passed to the local computer.

• Client is a network computer that utilizes the resources of other network computers

• Servers are powerful computers in the network.
